Suitable for older children, women or men (please note that the sizes are very small for a man).
Probably made in the 1920s or thereabouts.
These collars are unused, in their original wax packets, and in superb condition.
Whoever designed the packets, was clearly anxious to fill every available inch of space with slogans.
The front has the Perfection Sphinx trademark, marked THE MARK OF PERFECTION REGISTERED, and also:
THE IMPROVED Perfection
MADE IN ENGLAND
WILL OUTLAST SIX STIFF COLLARS.
EASILY WASHED AT HOME.
Won't Crease - Won't Shrink - Wont wear your Shirts.
The back of the packet gives the "laundering directions" (washing instructions).
There is no garment composition indicated, but it appears to be cotton.
