They are unsold shop stock, and have been in storage at the shop for half a century.
They still have the shop sticker with the original LSD price 15/- (fifteen shillings)
They have unfortunately lost their laces.
Unused, and in fairly good condition, though not perfect.
These shoes were probably made just before, or just after, the war (1930s or 1950s).
They were unsold shop stock, and they are marked on the insole with the original pre-decimal price 15/- (fifteen shillings).
If you remove this sticker, it may leave a mark.
They have survived well for half a century, but they have been stored without a box, and have unfortunately been squashed, as you can see.
The metal D-rings that the laces thread through, are rusty.
The shoes do not have laces.
There are scuffs, surface scratches and a few small marks, as shown.
The crepe rubber soles have picked up some dust in storage, as you can see.
However, these are still a nice, well-made pair of vintage shoes - though in view of their age, I would NOT recommend them for normal wear!
