Colour: Choice of colour:
Actual width of mittens...............2 1/2 inches (6 cm)
Actual length of mittens...............4 inches (11 cm)
The mittens are fine for a doll, or for a vintage display, but if you are thinking of using the mittens for a real child, you would need to change the cord for a modern safety fastening.
NOTE: These mittens have a wool cord round the wrist. I do not think this complies with modern safety standards.
I would suggest hand-washing only.
There are no garment care instructions.
The prices are marked in "decimal money" - so presumably they were added in the early 1970s.
These mittens are unsold shop stock, and they still have an old hand-written shop price on the "Acrilan" tag.
Made in England, probably in the late 1950s or early 1960s, but never used.
Made of Acrilan.
