Made in England, probably in the 1960s, but never used.
These mittens are unsold shop stock, and they still have an old hand-written shop price on their tags.
The prices are marked in "decimal money" - so presumably they were added in the early 1970s.
There are no garment care instructions.
I would suggest hand-washing only.
NOTE: These mittens have a ribbon cord round the wrist. I do not think this complies with modern safety standards.
The mittens are fine for a doll, or for a vintage display, but if you are thinking of using the mittens for a real child, you would need to change the cord for a modern safety fastening.
Actual length of mittens...............5 1/2 inches (14 cm)
Actual width of mittens....................3 inches (7.5 cm)
