UNUSED but slightly DAMAGED.
These shoes were made in the 1950s or thereabouts.
They were unsold shop stock, and they are marked with old £SD (pre-decimal) prices.
Price stickers say 8/6 (eight shillings and sixpence).
The shoes have been properly stored in the shop, and are in remarkably good general condition, as you can see.
There are a couple of minor scuffs from storage.
The canvas is very stiff.
The soles are tacky in places (presumably the rubber has suffered slightly over the course of half a century), and there is also a little line of rubber spots along the side of one of the toes.
