New with tags
These garments are unsold shop stock, from the 1950s.
They still have their hand-written shop tag attached - some of them have had the price tags clipped in half, presumably to remove the old "shillings and pence" price.
Others have had their labels replaced, and have "new money" labels from the 1970s (the prices in the 1970s were 62 1/2 p (62 and a half new pence) and 54p).
The clothes have been properly stored in the shop, and are in beautiful condition, as you can see.
However, as they are about half a century old, they will need to be washed before use, and handled carefully.
