A pair of vintage 1950s children's trousers, suitable for boys or girls.
Cotton cloth, treated with "Everglaze" - a patent process to make the cloth stain resistant.
According to the label, Everglaze was a trademark of Jos. Bancroft & Sons (an American firm).
Glossy blue finish
Elasticated waist
Two front pockets
Somewhat sketchy washing instructions are supplied (in typical 1950s fashion) on a separate cardboard tag.
These garments were unsold shop stock from the 1950s or thereabouts, and have been in storage at the shop ever since.
They have been properly stored, and are in lovely condition.
The original hand-written shop tag is still attached.
The original (pre-decimal) price was 20/6 to 21/11 (twenty shillings and sixpence to twenty-one shillings and elevenpence).
This was a lot of money for a pair of children's trousers.

They have been carefully stored, and are in excellent condition.
These trousers are unused, and still have their original hand-written shop tags attached.
Please bear in mind that these garments are half a century old, and will need to be treated gently and carefully.
They will also need to be hand-washed before use, because of their age.
