Vintage bikini 10-12 swimsuit 1960s 1970s UNUSED Palmers BROWN costume 34"
A lady's vintage two-piece bathing suit.
Made in Edgware by Palmers.
Probably made in the late 1960s, judging by the labels and sizing, but possibly early 1970s.
Hand wash only (full washing instructions are on the card tag).
Cups and gusset are lined.
This bikini is unsold shop stock, several decades old.
Brown and white design with leaves - I think it is possibly meant to be bamboo?
Size: Bust 34 inches.......Top of bikini bottom measures 26" unstretched, 32 fully stretched.......Modern UK Size 10 approx
Note: this garment is marked in the old sizes - Size 12.
This is roughly equivalent to a modern UK size 10, but please check the measurements are right for you.
This garment is unworn, and in perfect condition.
It is unsold shop stock from the 1960s/early 1970s
It still has its original tag, with the full washing instructions printed on it.
It has been properly stored, and as you can see, it is in lovely condition, with no damage at all, except that the tag is creased.
However, in view of its age, the bikini should be hand-washed before use, and treated gently.
Hygiene and returns (swimwear):
These garments still have the plastic "hygiene strip" - this MUST not be removed while trying on the garment.
If the item does not fit, or is not suitable for you, you may return it for a full refund, provided the hygiene strip is intact and the garment is still clean, unworn, and saleable.
