An old crested china miniature tyg (three-handled cup), with three coats of arms:
- William Shakespeare's coat of arms
- Stratford upon Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace)
- Henry of Navarre (a French king who is also a character in Shakespeare's play Love's Labour's Lost.
It measures about one-and-a-half inches tall.
There is no maker's mark on this item.
Very good condition.
No chips or cracks.
A couple of flakes of paint are missing from the coats of arms, and the red paint seems to have been rather too thickly applied - possibly it has been touched up at some time?
