Undated, but presumably printed in the 1940s.
There is a hand-written inscription on the title page.
I cannot speak Welsh, but I think it says:
Gwobr Davina Jones am ffyddlondb i Ysgol Sul Gosen Llangadog yin 1944.
Presumably this is a presentation copy for Sunday school attendance prize for Davina Jones, in 1944, at Gosen, Llangadoch, Wales.
I think Gosen may be the name of the chapel where the Sunday School was held.
I am not sure what level of Welsh (or reading age) this book is for, but the print is quite big, so perhaps it was intended for primary school children?
Condition
Good condition (used).
The book has been well looked after.
The pages are clean and easy to read.
The staples have rusted, and many of the pages have broken loose.
Shelf wear, and inscription to previous owner in the front.
Apart from that, the book is in very good condition.
