Stuburette vintage ice skating boots Mens size 11 Coronation Ace 1950s Wilson
A pair of vintage ice skating boots, made in the 1950s or thereabouts.
The brand name is "Stuburette".
They were made by Stubbs and Burt of Bristol (the best city in the world).
With Canadian blade protectors.
The blades are marked:
There is also some illegible patent information.
The colour is black..
The tongues are padded with foam pads - these are in very good condition, and I think they are probably modern replacements.
UK size 11.
The soles measure 11 3/4 inches x 3 1/2 inches on the outside.
The skate protectors are marked:

Weight 2400g approx - please note, this is over the limit for ordinary post or , so the boots will have to be posted in TWO SEPARATE packages.
Vintage skating boots, in very good condition, but not perfect.
Please remember that these skates are probably the best part of a century old, and do NOT conform to modern safety regulations.
They are NOT safe to wear on an ice rink, and are sold purely as collectors' items.
There are some scuffs and scratches on the leather, from normal use, particularly around the toes and the back of the heels.
The steel blades, and the blade protectors, could do with a thorough clean.
