RED WHITE striped fabric Vintage dress material Tubular knit Pirate Sailor suit
Vintage 1980s dress making fabric, sold by the metre.
Tubular knit - the tubular width is 36" tubular, 72" opened out (90 cm tubular, 180 cm opened out).
The fabric composition is not marked, but it appears to be a good quality acrylic/wool mixture, probably Courtelle.
This sort of material was very popular in the second half of the 20th century, for making garments requiring a slight stretch without sagging.

Narrow candy stripe ("pirate stripe"), about 7 stripes (3 white stripes and 4 blue stripes) to the inch.
This is good quality, heavy, fabric.
The weight is approximately 520g per metre.
Up to 3 metres can be sent by ordinary post or .
If you buy 4 metres or more, it will need to be sent by courier, or cut into 3-metre lengths and sent separately.
If you buy more than 4 metres, please let me know whether you need it as one continuous length.
Unused vintage fabric in very good condition.
The fabric has been in storage since the 1980s, and the edges of the roll are a little dusty.
It should be washed before use.
