This is a vintage garment, probably made in the late 1940s or thereabouts.
It is considerably shorter than most modern ties - you may find the style unfamiliar at first, if you don't normally wear vintage ties.
The original Tootal tag is still sewn to the front of the tie - it lists various patents (granted in the 1920s and 1930s).
This tie is about half a century old - it is unsold shop stock, and has been well stored at the shop, ever since it was made.
It is in beautiful condition.
This tie still has the original shop price on a label on the back of the blade 1/- (one shilling).
