It is the "flesh pink" favoured for girdles, corsets etc around the time of the Second World War.
This is unsold shop stock from pre-decimal times, but it is difficult to date exactly.
I would guess somewhere between the 1930s and 1950s.
It appears to be made of "artificial silk" (rayon).
Size: Three-eighths of an inch wide (1 cm approx).
There are 6 yards altogether, in two pieces - one 5-yard length, and one 1-yard length.
