Probably made in Edwardian times, or perhaps slightly earlier or later.
This type of ebony ware was very popular in Europe from late Victorian times until the Art Deco period.
The brush is six-and-a-half inches long (16 cm), and weighs 70g approx.
The wooden back is well curved, nice and smooth.
The bristles are in very good condition, and a good white colour.
There are some marks on the back - a couple of surface scratches, and two round marks, as shown.
