Cerdic collar Size 14 1/2 Trubenised non-iron 1940s vintage semi-stiff

A detachable Trubenised semi-stiff shirt collar, made in England by James Cook & Co, Ltd, collar makers of Chard.
This firm was incorporated in 1938, and the Trubenised collar was very popular in the 1940s, so I think the collar probably dates from the 1940s, or thereabouts.
This Trubenised day collar is permanently semi-stiff, with a built-in fold line.
The collar is marked:
CERDIC
STYLE 33
SIZE 14 1/2
Collar size 14 1/2 inches.

Total depth of collar (unfolded) at widest point is 3 1/2 inches

Garment care:

Does not need to be starched

Do not iron, bleach or boil

Wash by hand, smooth out while wet, and drip dry

Fold by hand

Condition:

This collar is unused, and in its original packet.

It has survived for half a century extremely well, and is perfectly fit to wear.

It is in lovely condition, nice and white, but it would benefit from being washed before use, because the packets are not sealed, and the front edges of the collar are a little dusty.
