An old crested china miniature ewer, with the coat of arms of Southend-on-Sea.
It was made as a souvenir of the Southend suburb of Westcliff-on-Sea.
It has the city motto as well: Per mare per ecclesiam
This is Latin for "Through the sea, through the church".
It measures just two inches tall.
The base is marked with the brand name "Arcadian".
No chips or cracks.
The gilding is a little worn, on the rim.
