These buttons are unsold shop stock, probably dating from the early part of the 20th century.
The buttons are in fairly good condition, though a little grubby.
I have not attempted to clean them.
They are made of natural mother of pearl, and they are not quite identical.
There is variation in the colour and thickness.
Some of them are chipped at the edges, as shown.
This has been taken into account in the price.
The cards are intact, though creased, dusty, and a bit tatty round the edges.
They still have the original pre-decimal price hand-written on them - 6 1/2 d (sixpence ha'penny).
Please bear in mind that these buttons are old, and will need to be treated gently and carefully.
They are NOT washable, and will need to be removed before washing.
